Untuk itu dipilih secaraacak tujuh virus H5N1 dari kelompok virusyang diperoleh sejak tahun 2005—2011. Ketujuh virus tersebut telah berhasil dikulturdan diperbanyak di laboratorium BSL 3di <strong>Badan</strong> <strong>Litbang</strong>kes. Protein HA dan NAyang ada pada rantai genetic virus telahberhasil dilakukan sequence full genom.Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwake tujuh virus tersebut mempunyai homologyyang hampir sama sehingga dipilih satuvirus saja yaitu virus tahun 2007. Virus inidigunakan untuk memvaksinasi kelinci agardiperoleh antibodi terhadap virus InfluenzaA (H5N1). Titer antibodi kelinci tersebutadalah 160 dengan Uji Hambatan Hemagglutinasisetelah 2 minggu divaksinasi. UjiHambatan Hemagglutinasi menggunakanvirus influenza H5N1/2005 RG (provided byCDC Atlanta). Dari hasil ini diketahui bahwaada cross reactivity antara virus tahun 2005dan 2007. Pengujian ini masihperlu dilanjutkandengan virus-virus lainnya.Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkandapat menunjang program pencegahan infeksivirus influenza A (H5N1) pada manusiaIndonesia, terutama yang berisiko tinggi.This research was done to identifyneutralizationepitop A-E from Influenza Avirus (H5N1 {avian flu}). Seven H5N1 viruseswere randomly selected from virussamplesobtained during2005-2011.TheSeven Virus were all successfully culturedand propagated in a BSL 3 laboratory atNIHRD. HA and NA proteins at virus geneticchain have been successfully being sequencefor the full genome. From the resultof the analysis it is known that the virushas almost similar homology so that onlyone virus was chosen from 2007. This virusused to vaccinate rabbits to obtain antibodiesagainst the virus Influenza A (H5N1).Rabbit antibody titer was 160 with HemagglutinationResistance Test after 2 weeksvaccinated. Hemagglutination ResistanceTest used RG Influenza Virus H5N1/2005(provided by CDC Atlanta). From the resultsit is known that there is cross reactivitybetween the virus from2005 and from2007. Testing still needs to include otherviruses.Result of this research isexpected tocontribute to the development of a preventionprogram for Influenza A (H5N1) Virusfor the Indonesian people, especially forthose at high risk.20 <strong>Profil</strong> Balitbangkes
