anni. Non potevi immaginare quale mix si potesse inventare, il suo<br />
eclettismo ti spiazzava ogni volta.<br />
Whipper Whip: All’inizio non c’erano sfide tra gli MC, eravamo<br />
ancora troppo pochi. C’era abbastanza spazio perché ciascuno facesse<br />
e promuovesse le sue feste senza problemi. C’erano già sfide tra DJ e<br />
poi iniziarono quelle tra crew. Ci scontrammo con Bam e la sua crew e<br />
non fu una bell’idea da parte nostra perché Bam aveva un buon sound<br />
system e un seguito devoto. Inutile dire che avemmo la peggio.<br />
Busy Bee: Durante le battle per affermarmi come MC non ho mai<br />
avuto paura di nessuno, mentre sono sicuro che gli altri MC avessero<br />
timore di sfidarmi. In realtà non avevano motivo di temermi perché<br />

rime che avrebbero utilizzato per battermi che quando vedevano la<br />
mia performance si rilassavano e si divertivano anche loro! Ho letteralmente<br />
cambiato la mentalità: se prima c’era paura e timore, dopo<br />
aver visto Busy Bee sul palco rimaneva solo l’allegria.<br />
Tski: Le sfide più memorabili erano quelle tra Cold Crush<br />
Brothers e i Fantastic 5. Tra MC la sfida più conosciuta è sicuramente<br />
quella tra Kool Moe Dee e Busy Bee.<br />
Originalità<br />
Mr Biggs: L’originalità dello stile era un elemento imprescindibile.<br />
Per emergere, per farti conoscere, apprezzare e amare dovevi avere<br />
uno stile tutto tuo, diverso da quello di chiunque altro: l’originalità<br />
era al centro del nostro modo di essere. Come Soulsonic Force avevamo<br />
una rima che esprimeva questo concetto: The style that we use<br />
can hardly be measured. We’re doing it for the people showin’ it is a<br />
