IX Activities of the Constitutional Court
I. Official travels abroad
24 January - 28 January 2011
A delegation of the Constitutional Court, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani,
made an official visit to judicial institutions of the Kingdom of Sweden. The purpose of the
visit was the exchange of experiences between the two respective judicial systems.
This visit was realized through the organizational and financial support of TAIEX (Technical
Assistance Information Exchange Instrument).
31 January - 6 February 2011
At the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, the
President of the Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, traveled for an official visit to
the United States to take part in the 59 th ceremony of “Morning prayers” in Washington D.C.
7 February - 11 February 2011
A delegation of the Constitutional Court, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani,
traveled for an official visit to Vienna, Austria, whereby meetings were conducted in the
Constitutional Court of Austria, the Parliament of the State and in judicial institutions of this
country. This visit was made possible by the invitation and support of the Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Austria.
13 April - 15 April 2011
A delegation of the Constitutional Court, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani,
made an official visit to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria, meeting also
with Ombudsman, Parliament and judicial institutions of that country. The purpose of the
visit was the exchange of experiences and the expansion of cooperation between respective
judicial institutions. The visit was made possible by the invitation of the Constitutional Court
of the Republic of Bulgaria, and it was partially financed by this Court.
18 April - 20 April 2011
A delegation of the Constitutional Court, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani,
made an official visit to the Republic of Albania.
On this occasion, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo and the Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Albania signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation.
During this visit, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo and the Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Albania, in cooperation with the German Foundation “Hans Seidel”
for International Legal Cooperation, organized a workshop on “Incidental Control”.
