The EWMI, in cooperation with the Constitutional Court, held a consultative meeting with
councilors of the Municipal Assembly of Gjakova and the staff of the municipality of Gjakova
regarding the procedures for filing Referrals for constitutional review.

The Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court, in cooperation with EWMI, organized a
consultative meeting with the judges of the District Court in Prishtina concerning the
relationship between the Constitutional Court and regular courts pursuant to the
Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
IV. Solemn ceremonies
30 March 2011
The Constitutional Court inaugurated the solemn ceremony of the promotion of “2009-2010
Bulletin of the Case Law of the Constitutional Court”. The Bulletin of the Case Law of the
Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo has been developed as part of the “Initiative
for the Constitutional Court of Kosovo”, a program implemented by the EWMI and
supported by the Government of the United Kingdom.

The Constitutional Court organized the solemn ceremony for the opening of its Second
Judicial Year. High-level state personalities and international representatives in Kosovo, as
well as delegations of the highest levels of the Constitutional Courts of the Republic of
Albania, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Portugal took part in the
event.
On the occasion of the solemn ceremony for the opening of its Second Judicial Year of the
Constitutional Court, its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, conducted official meetings with
all delegations of the said Courts in the Assembly of Kosovo and in the Ministry of Justice of
the Government of Kosovo.
V. Seminars

A joint workshop was held between Legal Advisors of the Constitutional Court of the
Republic of Kosovo, Constitutional Court of the Republic of Germany and Constitutional
Court of the Republic of Albania regarding their work and experience.
