Era da tempo che avevo in mente di fare qualcosa che fosse
legata alla strada vicino a casa mia, in zona San Siro. Si
tratta della via che porta allo stadio, la stessa raccontata
ne ‘I quarantanove racconti’ di Ernest Hemingway, quando
ricorda la corsa con suo padre. Dunque, che dovessi
correre era scritto nel destino... Kartell mi ha offerto l’occasione
di poter finalmente inventarmi qualcosa, e ho scelto
di fare questa foto, riportando uno stralcio del racconto ‘Il
mio vecchio’. Un omaggio allo scrittore e alla mia infanzia.

I had been thinking for some time about doing something
on the street near my home in the San Siro area. It’s the road
that goes to the stadium, the same one you find in Ernest
Hemingway’s “The First Forty-Nine Stories” when he writes
about racing with his father. Therefore, if I were meant to race,
the writing was on the wall... Kartell offered me the chance
to be able to finally invent something for myself and I chose
to take this photograph including an excerpt from the tale
“My Old Man”. A tribute to the writer and to my childhood
