La mia visione della città la definirei futurista. Sull’onda
delle visioni che avevo già della città, ho scelto la torre
Velasca, che rappresenta il traghettamento di due epoche,
una visione un po’ picassiana, un alveare. La torre
Velasca è un pezzo di storia, non invecchia, rimane lì.
Con Kartell, ho interpretato il vassoio con il palazzo: un
gioco surreale che interagisce e scrive il ritmo, una sorta
di danza la torre e il vassoio di design. Poi ho scelto una
sedia sopra la copertura della metropolitana. Lasciando
sulla destra il cartello che sostiene il segno della M, perché
mi sono accorto che avevano la stessa curvatura.

I would define my vision of the city as futuristic. On the
basis of the visions I already had of the city, I chose the
Velasca tower which represents the linking of two eras, a
somewhat Picasso-like vision, a honeycomb. The Velasca
tower is a piece of history, it never ages, it is just there.
With Kartell I interpreted the tray through the building: a
surreal play of interacting and setting the beat, a sort of
dance of the tower and the design tray. Then I chose a
chair sitting on top of the metro. Leaving the signpost
with the M on the right because I saw that they had the
same curves.
