New political forces andimportant issues of our time must be faced up to. Of course, politicalphilosophers should be distinguished from lawmakers and/or executives, yet itis imperative that they bring their deliberations to bear on public affairs.In supporting its position, this essay primarily cites the revival of politicalphilosophy in the Western nations, particularly in the United States since the1970s. The pursuit of political philosophy and its practitioners in Taiwan aregently taken to task.
