Achei interessante esse lance de ficar careca.
Quando me olhei no espelho pela primeira vez,
não me reconheci
e incentivará a maldade dele. Ele vai virar um déspota.
Na primeira fase da novela a ideia era fazer um Ramsés
simpático e conseguimos isso. Agora a segunda fase é
mostrar o novo Ramsés. Ditador muito mais cruel do
que o pai dele foi com os hebreus. Ele vai construir um
grande império.
Como está a aceitação do público?
Demais, está sensacional. Só escuto coisas positivas.
Estou muito feliz de verdade. Muita gente me fala que
nunca tinha visto uma novela da Record e está amando.
Estou nas nuvens.
Começou primeiro na televisão e depois fez teatro. Teve
dificuldade?
Fazia curso de teatro em São Paulo e trabalhava como
modelo. Fui fazer minha primeira novela na Globo em
2000, Estrela Guia. Nunca tinha feito teatro profissional,
mas havia estudado teatro.
E quando fez teatro pela primeira vez foi mais difícil?
Sempre tive boas oportunidades no teatro. O Santo Parto
fiz com Roberto Bomtempo e José de Abreu. Teve cinco
indicações ao Prêmio Shell. Foi minha primeira peça, e
já nela beijava um homem na boca. Deu o que falar. Tive
muita sorte nos convites que recebi, de trabalhar com
gente interessante e textos bons. Não foi difícil. Diria
que foi difícil fazer televisão sem nunca ter feito curso
para isso. Na primeira novela, fazia curso de teatro, mas
nunca tinha feito vídeo. Tive que aprender tudo na hora.
Como é o Sérgio Marone no dia a dia. O que gosta de
fazer?
Vejo muito filme em casa. Leio, vou ao cinema. Gosto
de comer, receber os amigos para tomar alguma coisa,
bater papo, ouvir música. Dar risada. Sou muito comum.
Está solteiro?
Estou solteiríssimo.
Fez parte do Movimento Gota D’água que visava impedir
a construção da Hidroelétrica de Belo Monte. Está
atuando nele ainda?

likeable and we succeeded in that. Now in the second stage,
it is to show the new Ramses. A Dictator, more ruthless than
his father was with the Hebrews. He builds a great empire.
How is public acceptance?
So much, it is sensational. I only hear positive things. I’m
really, really happy. A lot of people tell me that they’ve
never seen a soap opera on TV Record, and love it. I’m in
the clouds.
You started acting first on television and then in theater.
Were there any difficulties?
I took a theater acting course in São Paulo and worked as
a model. I did my first soap on TV Globo, in 2000, Estrela
Guia (Guiding Star). I’ve never done professional theatre,
but I had studied Theater.
And when you did Theater for the first time, was it very
difficult?
I’ve always had good opportunities in the Theater. Santo
Parto (Holy Birth), I did with Roberto Bomtempo and José
de Abreu. I was indicated for five Shell Awards. It was my
first play and in it, I kissed a guy on the mouth. This lead
to much talk. I have been very fortunate to have received
invitations to work with interesting people and good texts. It
wasn’t difficult. I’d say it was difficult to do television without
ever having taken a course about it. In the first soap, I was
still a theater major, but had never done video. I had to learn
everything on the go.
What is Sergio Marone like in everyday life. What do you
like to do?
I see a lot of movies at home. I read, go to the movies. I like
to eat, receive friends for a drink, chat, listen to music, laugh.
It’s all very normal.
Are you single?
I am very single.
You are part of the Gota D’água movement (Last Straw)
