Transparência e funcionalidade são as
maiores exigências dos consumidores
de papel tissue: com o crescimento
no mercado global, eles buscam mais
transparência nos ingredientes e funcionalidade
aprimorada em lenços de
papel e papéis-toalha descartáveis. As informações
ransparency and functionality are the biggest
demands of tissue consumers: with growth in
the global market, they seek more transparency
in the ingredients and improved functionality in
disposable facial tissues and paper towels. The
information is from a recent study by the market research
company, Reportlinker.
According to the Reportlinker study, the growing demand
for products of natural origin, ecological, and unaggressive
to the environment contributes to the “premiumization”
in the disposable tissue and paper towel market. The
ecological aspect increases the competitiveness of biodegradable
tissues and paper towels in relation to traditional
sanitary and cleaning products, such as reusable fabrics.
Also, the growing use of plant-based substrates (e.g.,
wood pulp) and additives (such as aloe, cucumber extract,
or melaleuca oil) replacing petroleum-based ingredients
increases the appeal of tissue paper amongst consumers.
This not only makes tissue paper more competitive when
compared to more traditional products, such as reusable
