à REFERÊNCIA INDUSTRIAL, a pesquisadora do
Ipea (Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada),
Fernanda De Negri, buscou traçar um raio-x sobre
essa situação na indústria nacional e deu pistas de

he Brazilian economy is in slow recovery
and needs to renew itself to
achieve the rates at the beginning of
the decade. Without a doubt, there
are bottlenecks to increased productivity
and a lack of innovation by companies that
have already established themselves in a competitive
market such as that of the forest industry. In
an interview with Referência Industrial, Fernanda
De Negri, Scientist with the Institute of Applied
Economic Research (Ipea), sought to trace out an
x-ray about this situation in Brazilian industry and
gave clues to how to get out of this ‘snooker’. In
