A cidade conta com o terceiro maior Produto<br />
Interno Bruto (PIB) da região, com R$ 11,1 bilhões,<br />
o que a coloca como a 36° economia do<br />
Estado. Outro indicador de destaque é a balança<br />
comercial. Em 2019, de acordo com o Ministério<br />
da Economia, foram exportados 574 milhões de<br />
dólares em mercadorias.<br />
