O objetivo do
projeto é apoiar a expansão do mercado de hidrogênio
verde (H2V) no país.
setor. A transição energética é prioridade do governo
carbono.
he first green hydrogen plant in Santa Catarina
(SC) is already in operation, located at
the Photovoltaic Laboratory of the Federal
University of Santa Catarina (Ufsc), Sapiens
Parque, in Florianópolis (SC). Considered the fuel
of the future due to the sustainable way in which
its production occurs, hydrogen is being produced
in a new laboratory block, which received investments
of R$ 14 million, the result of a cooperation
agreement between Brazil and Germany, which is
part of the H2Brasil Project, of the Cooperation for
Sustainable Development Program, implemented
in partnership with the Ministry of Mines and Energy
(MME). The objective of the project is to support
the expansion of the green hydrogen (H2V) market
in the Country.
The National Hydrogen Program (PNH2) is a
collective program with contributions from public
and private agencies, institutions, and associations
linked to the Sector. The energy transition is a priority
for the Federal Government, and energy partnerships
with other countries, especially Germany, are
considered fundamental in this process. In March
of this year, the two nations signed a document
reaffirming the Brazil-Germany Energy Partnership
for cooperation in low-carbon hydrogen studies.
