The 8 th edition of Nestlé Professional Beverage Academy, w<strong>hi</strong>ch was launched in Turkey<br />

for the first time, was held with the theme of ‘LimitSİZsiniz’ (you have no limits-You’re<br />

the limits), 3-5 August <strong>2018</strong>. Completing successfully the program of Beverage Academy,<br />

w<strong>hi</strong>ch is a first in the out-of-home consumption and made a lot of echoes around the<br />

world, 18 persons became the first graduates of the academy t<strong>hi</strong>s year.<br />

The 8 th edition of traditional Nestlé<br />

Professional Beverage Academy,<br />

organized by Nestlé Professional<br />

and addressing to all sales and marketing<br />

teams, business partners and customers,<br />

was held t<strong>hi</strong>s year. At the end of the<br />

program, 18 people who attended<br />

trainings and succeeded the examinations<br />

throughout four years graduated the<br />

academy. The program hosted 170 people<br />

and a total of 2,570-people/hour training<br />

was realized. The lecture given by world<br />

famous barista Aleksander Robaszkiewicz<br />

has been one of the most eye-catc<strong>hi</strong>ng<br />

moments of Beverage Academy.<br />

The trainings of Nestlé Professional,<br />

the specialty business department of<br />

Nestlé operating in the out-of-home<br />

consumption, focusing on how to add<br />

more value to the sector, were attended by<br />

leading names as lecturers out of Nestlé<br />

such as İsmail Tralı, General Manager<br />

of Elexus Hotel, Ercüment Eren, Sales<br />

Director of Sofra Compass Group Retail<br />

Sales, Wendy Christensen, Trade Manager<br />

of EMENA Zone Beverage Systems,<br />

and world famous barista Aleksander<br />

Robaszkiewicz.<br />

Cited as an example in the world<br />

The goal of the program, w<strong>hi</strong>ch is one<br />

of the exemplary applications in the<br />

global markets, is to set up a team who<br />

follows the consumer trends, determines<br />

the needs of the customer and serving<br />

to provide right solutions to them. The<br />

attendees of the trainings at Beverage<br />

Academy are trained in the fields of<br />

marketing, coffee expertise, sales<br />

<strong>tech</strong>niques, beverage solution system<br />

<strong>tech</strong>niques, quality, food regulations,<br />

finance and communication throughout<br />

four years till they are graduated.<br />

Throughout the past 8 years Nestlé<br />

gave 24,790-people/hour training to a<br />

total of 1,338 people and 114 people<br />

graduated from the Nestlé Professional<br />

Beverage Academy. The theme of t<strong>hi</strong>s<br />

year’s organization, w<strong>hi</strong>ch was the 8 th<br />

edition of Beverage Academy, has been<br />

‘LimitSİZsiniz’ (you have no limits-You’re<br />

the limits). The attendees who were<br />

trained on how to overcome with limits<br />

have been more equipped people at the<br />

end of the program. The attendees also<br />

forced the limits with the prescriptions<br />

offered by world famous barista<br />

Professional Turkey, spoke about the<br />

Beverage Academy marathon, w<strong>hi</strong>ch<br />

has been operational for eight years,<br />
