Brzeziny to dawne wielokulturowe
miasto krawców, o czym świadczą dziś
szyldy, ale i wystawa stała w Muzeum
Regionalnym, w którym odwiedzający
dowiedzą się, czy żelazko na pewno
miało duszę i do czego służył wilk.
W muzeum turyści obejrzą również
salonik mieszczański, izbę ludową oraz
archeologiczne ciekawostki z okolic.
Brzeziny is a former, multicultural
city of tailors, which is informed by
signposts as well as permanent exhibition
in Regional Museum, where you
can find out whether an iron had slug
or what ‘wilk’ (wolf) was used for. At the
museum, the visitors can also see salonik
mieszczanski, folk chamber as well
as local archeological curiosities.

ARBORETUM
Arboretum SGGW w Rogowie,
część Leśnego Zakładu
Doświadczalnego SGGW,
obejmuje: ogród dendrologiczny,
alpinarium oraz
leśne powierzchnie doświadczalne.
Arboretum szczyci się najbogatszą kolekcją
klonów w Polsce, a jego specjalnością
są drzewa i krzewy pochodzące z Chin.
To największe arboretum w Polsce. Obok
znajduje się Muzeum Lasu i Drewna.
As part of Warsaw University of Life
Sciences (SGGW – Szkoła Główna Gospod
arstwa Wiejskiego), the Arboretum
SGGW in Rogow is one of the largest botanical
gardens of its kind in Poland. Organisationally,
it reports to Leśny Zakład
Doświadczalny w Rogowie ( the Rogów
Forestry Experimental Station), which also
includes the Nature and Forestry Education
Centre, Nadleśnictwo Rogów and
Szkółkarski Ośrodek Szkoleniowy (the
Rogów Forestry Inspectorate and the Plant
Nursery Training Centre) (respectively). Located
in a thinned-out area of forest, it has
the character of a forest park. It includes:
dendrological collection, alpinary, one of
the most abundant and fascinating collections
of trees and shrubs in Central and
Eastern Europe, which is completed with
experimental forestry plots containing
foreign species of forest trees and an alpine
garden. Aboretum specialises in trees of
Chinese origin. Another nearby attractions
is Forest and Wood Museum at the Nature
and Forest Education Centre.
