1994 as ZTS Plastik.<br />

We got his opinions about fair<br />

from Tumay Cevik, ZTS Plastik.<br />

“Our company was founded<br />

in 1972. Since 1994 we have<br />

been in the production of<br />

hangers. Junioshow Fair, which<br />

we have been participating for<br />

three years, attracted qualified<br />

visitors this year. Especially<br />

compared to the last years, the<br />

fair has a serious potential in<br />

terms of visitors. During the<br />

past years, the fair gained favor<br />

for domestic market and it<br />

strengthened the export side<br />

this year. Buying delegations<br />

coming from abroad and the<br />

positive effects of the Chamber<br />

of Commerce and Industry<br />

can not be denied. We have<br />

contacted with customers<br />

from Morocco, Saudi Arabia,<br />

Iran and Germany to visit. We<br />

are bringing patented products<br />

to our customers. We can<br />

also respond to the different<br />

and innovative products<br />

that the customer demands.<br />

If there is a company that<br />

makes a new product in the<br />

market for the first time, we<br />

get production permission<br />

from them. The biggest<br />

problem with the market is<br />

the price policy. We can not<br />

sell a good quality product,<br />

so much bargaining on the<br />

product. We can not sell it<br />

standing behind our qualified<br />

products as it is abroad. At the<br />

point of competition this is a<br />

disadvantage for us.”<br />

Akdem Tekstil carries out<br />

finishing and dyeing at our<br />

plants, tube, rotation, film<br />

druck printing processes.<br />

Most of the processed<br />

fabrics are composed of<br />

mainly cotton together with<br />

viscose, modal, polyester<br />

and their blends. We carry<br />

out processes of dyeing,<br />

printing and finishing of<br />

fabrics such as viscose,<br />

interlock, single jersey,<br />

lacoste, rib, camisole,<br />

viscose (lycra)with elastane,<br />

single jersey elestane,<br />

double-knit fabric with<br />

elastane, three tread blend<br />

with cotton-polyester,<br />

velvet, towel, welsoft, polar<br />

fleece. The fabrics which<br />

are given a soft texture,<br />

display and special touch<br />

by dyeing, printing and<br />

finishing, are dispatched by<br />

tube decatizing, open width,<br />

cylinder or plaiting packet.<br />

As Akdem Tekstil, we have<br />

a daily processing capacity<br />

of 25 tons of knitted fabric.<br />

We have a strong domestic<br />

market structure, but we<br />

do not want to be content<br />

with it. That’s why we<br />

participated in JunioShow.<br />

Initial feedback on the part<br />

of the visitors to our stand<br />

has been very positive.<br />

Our expectations were<br />

met in full. When we look<br />

at the visitor profile, the<br />

multitude of visitors from<br />

abroad shows that the<br />

fair is hosting a successful<br />

organization. We have<br />

customers from all over the<br />

world, mainly addressing<br />

the Russian market abroad.<br />

It is also an important<br />

point for us to find an<br />

opportunity to meet with<br />

the Arab world through the<br />

fair. As Akdem Tekstil, we<br />

consider the export as a<br />

strategic phenomenon. We<br />

want to crown the position<br />

we have achieved in the<br />

domestic sector with our<br />

successes abroad. We have<br />

been regularly participating<br />

in fairs abroad for the last 6<br />

years and we continuously<br />

improve our customer<br />

potential. This fair also<br />

shows that Akdem Tekstil is<br />

doing a right job and getting<br />

the money.<br />
