Dubai Maritime City Authority<br />
(DMCA) recently announced its decision<br />
to restructure the biennial UAE<br />
Maritime Week event into an annual<br />
tradition. The announcement follows<br />
the tremendous outpour of support<br />
for this year’s edition which was held<br />
under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh<br />
Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid<br />
Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai<br />
and Chairman of the Executive Council.<br />
Launched to help bridge communication<br />
gaps in the global maritime<br />
industry and explore the future of the<br />
maritime sector from a perspective<br />
of innovation, knowledge, and smart<br />
transformation, UAE Maritime Week<br />
gathers international key decision<br />
makers and top industry professionals.<br />
Through making the gathering an<br />
annual event, the DMCA is unleashing<br />
new potential to enhance international<br />
cooperation in adopting innovation,<br />
research and development,<br />
and smart technology to bolster the<br />
local and international maritime clusters.<br />

البحري يتحول إلى<br />
حدث سنوي<br />
أعلنت "سلطة مدينة ديب المالحية" مؤخراً عن قرارها بتغيير جدول تنظيم فعالية أسبوع<br />
اإلمارات البحري الذي يعقد مرة كل سنتين ليصبح فعالية سنوية. ويأيت هذا اإلعالن بعد<br />
اإلقبال الكبير الذي شهده األسبوع هذا العام، والذي أقيم برعاية صاحب السمو الشيخ<br />
حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ويل عهد ديب ورئيس المجلس التنفيذي. وتم إطالق<br />
هذا األسبوع للمساعدة يف سد الفجوة يف التواصل بين شركاء الصناعة البحرية العالمية،<br />
واستكشاف مستقبل قطاع النقل البحري من منظور االبتكار والمعرفة والتحول الذكي،<br />
ويجمع أسبوع اإلمارات البحري صانعي القرار الرئيسين يف العالم، وكبار الخبراء يف هذا<br />
المجال البحري.<br />
Gerab to set up at KIZAD<br />
and Khalifa Port<br />
Gerab National Enterprises LLC<br />
will begin three major projects to establish<br />
its fabrication facility, manufacturing<br />
unit and 3PL logistics operations<br />
at Khalifa Industrial Zone<br />
Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) and Khalifa Port.<br />
Referencing the agreement, Abdullah<br />
Sharafi, President of Gerab Group<br />
stated, “With our improvement plans<br />
approved for investment in KIZAD<br />
and Khalifa Port, we are confident of<br />
achieving our objective and providing<br />
comprehensive support to the<br />
growing needs of the UAE.” As part<br />
of the expansion, Gerab will set up<br />
Quality International Co Ltd within a<br />
655,000m2 plot at KIZAD and Khalifa<br />
Port, which includes a 172,000m2<br />
waterfront yard. Additionally, There<br />
will also be a 212,000m2 plot at KI-<br />
ZAD and Khalifa Port for Flexigistic<br />
Logistics LLC, its subsidiary, which<br />
will be developed into multi-user facilities.<br />

التصنيعية ووحدة التصنيع والعمليات<br />
اللوجستية يف منطقة خليفة الصناعية<br />
)كيزاد( يف أبو ظبي وميناء خليفة. ويف إشارة<br />
إىل االتفاقية مع شركة أبوظبي للموائن،<br />
قال عبدهللا شريف، رئيس مجموعة جيراب:<br />
"مع اعتمادنا لخطط تطوير استثماراتنا يف<br />
منطقة كيزاد وميناء خليفة؛ نحن على ثقة<br />
من تحقيق هدفنا وتوفير الدعم الشامل<br />
لالحتياجات التصنيعية المتزايدة لدولة<br />
اإلمارات". وستقوم المجموعة بتأسيس شركة<br />
"كواليتي إنترناشيونال" المحدودة ضمن<br />
قطعة أرض تبلغ مساحتها 655 ألف متر<br />
مربع يف منطقة كيزاد وميناء خليفة، والتي<br />
تشمل إطاللة على الواجهة البحرية بمساحة<br />
172 ألف متر مربع.<br />
