von 2,9 Prozent ist auch ein Erfolg dieser Bildungspolitik.

Barockkirche beeindrucken noch heute. Historische
Denkmäler, Kapellen und mittelalterliche Marktplätze

Over the past 20 years, 60 million Euros were primarily
invested in the development of vocational schools. “It
was well understood that - in our small but economically
strong district - we had to give our best for education”,
was the credo of Helmut Jahn, head of the district administration
with long-standing experience. The historically
low unemployment rate of 2.9 percent bears witness
to the success of this educational approach.
However, the rate of academics in the Hohenlohe district
still is below average. But many who started out in lower
ranks made it to leadership positions over time. The district,
in addition, attracts professionals and leaders from
other regions, who encounter a wide range of positions
and an unparalleled diversity of industrial sectors.
Moreover, the land of castles and palaces, of valleys,
plateaus and rolling hills offers a first-class life style. The
aristocracy of the former principality Fürstentum Hohenlohe
left its legacy in the form of castles, palaces or monasteries
in almost every community – most notably the
castles Neuenstein and Waldenburg, as well as the
Cistercian monastery Schöntal, which continue to awe
visitors until today. Historical churches and medieval
market squares attract tourists and visitors, who have
come for a hike through Hohenlohe. The famous
ancient Roman borderline Limes counts among the
