Der anhaltende wirtschaftliche Erfolg im Landkreis
sorgt auch für einen großen Bedarf an qualifizierten
Fachkräften. Die 2010 in Schwäbisch Hall errichtete Au-
land, Spanien und insbesondere Portugal ein, doch nur
wenige Bewerber fanden bei den hohen Anforderungen,
die die Firmen haben, tatsächlich eine Stelle.
Das Land der Burgen und Schlösser, der Bio- und
Energiepioniere, der sanften Hügel, der stillen Flusstäler
und fruchtbaren Hochebenen bietet eine hervorragende
Lebensqualität. Viele Wander- und Radwege führen
am Kocher und an der Jagst entlang sowie an Sehenswürdigkeiten
wie der Großcomburg vorbei. Noch heute
locken die Schlösser der Fürsten zu Hohenlohe in Langenburg
oder Kirchberg zahlreiche Touristen an. Der
Marktplatz von Schwäbisch Hall mit der Treppe von St.
Michael zählt zu den schönsten in Süddeutschland. Hier

in 2012, 10,000 applications arrived within a very short
time from countries affected by the European crisis such
as Greece, Spain and, above all, Portugal. But very few
of the applicants met the companies‘ high requirements.
The land of castles and fortresses, of pioneers in organic
farming and renewable energy sources, of rolling
hills, serene river valleys and fertile high plateaus offers
an outstanding quality of life. Numerous hiking and bicycle
trails follow the rivers Kocher and Jagst and lead to
tourist attractions such as the castle Großcomburg. To
this day, the castles of the Princes of Hohenlohe in Langenburg
and Kirchberg attract flocks of tourists. The
market square in Schwäbisch Hall with the open stairway
of St. Michael counts among the most beautiful city
squares in Germany’s south. This stairway is the location
