5. 6 th Vol. [of 22], No 35/36. Columns 479-502. One woodcut and six reproduced<br />
pen drawings by Egon Schiele included, as well as another one by Felix Albrecht Harta.<br />
4to, original wrappers. - Original edition. - Special issue commited to Egon Schiele. -<br />
The two small, for the magazine "Aktion" created woodcuts (of which, "Drei badende<br />
Männer", appeared in the Schiele issue), remained the only ones he ever produced. The<br />
drawings were printed in the magazine, and – simultaneously – exhibited and offered<br />
for sale in the Pfemferts galery. (Christian Nebehhay, Egon Schiele. Leben und Werk,<br />
Salzburg/Vienna, 1980, pp. 147ff.) - This specimen is considered as one of the most<br />
famous and important issues of "Aktion". On the other hand it is undoubtedly one of<br />
the most important publications of Schiele. - Wood-containing paper, staples<br />

seven reproduced pen drawings by Georg Tappert. 4to, original wrappers. - Original<br />
edition. - Georg Tappert is supposed to be one of those artists that contributed<br />
significantly to the breakthrough of Expressionism in Berlin. With other young painters<br />
excluded from the exhibition of the „Berlin Secession“, he founded the „New Secession<br />
1910“ in cooperation with his colleagues Moriz Melzer and Heinrich Richter-Berlin.<br />
Until 1914, not less than six exposures were carried out and organized primarily by<br />
Tappert (Rolf H. Johansen, in: Kunstwende, p.25). - Wood-containing paper, staples<br />
