Publication with signatured dedication. - Typography and design by Vordemberge-
Gildewart. - In this elaborately designed piece of work, Vordemberge-Gildewart
reflected his isolation during the german occupation. Planned for 1946 once, the date
of publication had to be postponed until the authors 50 th birthday. This was due to the
lack the appropriate paper. - The resulting volume was met with unanimous acception.
- Contains the important essay "abstrakt – konkret – absolut" by Vordemberge-
Gildewart and brief statements by Ozenfant and Jeanneret (Le Corbusier), Picasso, Van
Doesburg, and Vantongerloo. - Texts of Arp and Vordemberge in French, German,
English. - With a short biography, exhibition list, an index of works in museums and
private collections as well as an extensive bibliography consists of 217 titles. - Cover of
glassine paper (pergamyn), browned at the edges with small blemishes, one leaf with
creasemark, otherwise very well-preserved copy.

of the first three volumes of the Krakow futurist club "Katarynka". - Stamp on wrappers,
a little bit stained and with contemporay notations (see picture).
