Original edition. - Extremely rare. - In 1932, the exhibition was banned, most of the
catalogs confiscated and declared as waste paper. - One of the main activities of the
"Munka-Circle" was on the field of social photography. Kassák instructed young
workers and employees of his acquaintance to take pictures of the poor, unemployed
and homeless people. In this way, he achieved some of his objectives: The publication
of socio-critical, political and artistic innovative images, understandable by a broad
audience (Catalog, Lajaos Kassák, Botschafter der Avantgarde 1915-1927, p. 38). - The
illustrations show photographs taken by Tibor Bass, Teréz Bergmann, Lászlo Bruck,
Sándor Frühof, Ferenc Haár, Anna Schmidt, Lajos Lengyel and Lajos Tabák. - Perfectly
preserved, in an almost "fresh off the press" condition.
