Applikation überall und ohne
lokale Installation verfügbar
ist, wird sie auf einem
Terminalserver bereitgestellt,
der den mehr fachen zeitgleichen
Zugriff auf die Applikation
ermöglicht.
Die Terminalserver sind
durch die Integration in das
DFS-weite Netzwerk in allen
anderen DFS-Liegenschaften
verfügbar. Der Zugriff auf
die GLT-Applikation kann
von jedem zugelassenen
Rechner der DFS bereitgestellt
werden.
Einzigartiges BACnet-
Netzwerk
Abgesehen von der Hochverfügbarkeit
des Systems sowie
der Konzentration der
GLT-Applikationen für die
bundesweit verteilten DFS-
Liegenschaften wurde mit
dem VIGAS-System auch
Deutschlands großflächigstes
BACnet-Netzwerk geroutet.
Eine besondere Herausforderung
war hierbei unter anderem
die Vergabe der BACnet-
Device-Adressen sowie der
entsprechenden Site-Nummern
für sämtliche BACnet-
Geräte und DFS-Liegenschaften,
um Duplikate zu
vermeiden.
Bei der Aufschaltung von
Fremdfabrikaten auf der
Automationsebene zeigte
sich, dass eine vollständige
Durchgängigkeit der Funk-
tionen nicht immer gegeben
ist. Probleme bereiteten insbesondereBACnet-Automationsstationen
der ersten
Generation mit BACnet-
Gateways, die sich nur mit
zusätzlichem Aufwand in
das BACnet-Netzwerk integrieren
ließen. Dahingehend
gestaltete sich die BACnet-
Aufschaltung der Managementebenen
relativ einfach.

Anwendungen Solutions

überwacht.

Desigo Insight for the
management level
DFS decided on the System
Desigo Insight from Siemens
as the parent application for
the management level and
for BACnet as the transfer
protocol. In order to ensure
availability of the GLT application
everywhere without a
local installation, it is placed
on a terminal server, which
allows for multiple users to
access the application simultaneously.
The terminal servers are
available in all other DFS
properties via integration
in the DFS network. Access
to the GLT application can
be provided from every approved
DFS computer.
Unique BACnet network
In addition to the system’s
high level of availability and
the concentration of the GLT
application for DFS properties
throughout Germany,
the most extensive BACnet
network in Germany was
routed with the VIGAS system.
Among other things, a
special challenge here consisted
of the allocation of
BACnet device addresses as
well as the respective site
numbers for all BACnet devices
and DFS properties to
avoid duplicates.
The connection of third-party
products at the automation
level showed that full function
consistency is not always
provided. First generation
BACnet automation stations
with BACnet gateways
were especially challenging
and required additional effort
for integration in the
BACnet network. Whereas
the BACnet connection at
management level was relatively
simple.
