nungsvorgaben von Ebert-
Ingenieure hat Honeywell
das Gewerk MSR-Technik
ausgeführt, Siemens wurde
mit der Managementebene
betraut. Zum Einsatz kommen
die Automationsstationen
des Typ Excel Web der
Firma Honeywell.
BACnet-spezifische
Forderungen
Bereits in der Ausschreibung
hatte Ebert-Ingenieure die
notwendigen BACnet-Tests
beschrieben und spezifiziert,
die im Vorfeld im Planungsteam
koordiniert wurden.
Die Kommunikationspartner
mussten zu diesen Tests
ein gemeinsames Pflichtenheft
erarbeiten, koordinieren
und dokumentieren, das
durch den Betreiber und den
Planer geprüft wurde. Der finale
Test des Gesamtsys tems
vor dem Einbau der Automationsstationen
in das Gebäude
wurde mit den neuesten,
getesteten und zertifizierten
DDC-Stationen durchgeführt.
Alle gewünschten
Funktionen, insbesondere
die komplexen wie Scheduling,
Trending, Network
Management, Alarm and
Event Management etc.
wurden vom Gesamt system
– DESIGO INSIGHT und
EXCEL WEB – bestanden.
Während der Bauphase
wurde ein 1:1 Test von der
Feldebene bis zur Managementebene
durchgeführt
und protokolliert, um somit
nochmals die Funktionalitäten
des Systems detailliert
zu testen.
Das Universitätsklinikum
Hamburg-Eppendorf verfügt
jetzt über eine Multivendor-Anlage,
die nicht
nur auf dem neuesten Stand
der Technik ist, sondern
auch die wirtschaftlichste
Gesamtlösung darstellt.
In the spring of 2004 the
University Medical Center
Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE)
was confronted with the assignment
of tying the automation
stations of its newly-built
Klinikum West to
its current building management
system. In addition to
economic and technical feasibility
it was important from
the outset to set a high technical
standard, since on the
one hand technical progress
in construction characteristics
constantly changes, and
on the other hand as a university
hospital high demands
are placed on an engineering
plan. As the responsible
desginer, Ebert-Ingenieure
therefore decided on the installation
of manufacturerneutral
BACnet/IP protocols
for the task of building
automation in order to tie
the new automation stations
to the existing primary control
unit. Already in the early
planning phase it was important
for Ebert-Ingenieure
to accurately identify the
wishes of the users and to
define the cornerstone of the
new integrated BACnet system.
The existing DESIGO
INSIGHT primary control
unit from Siemens managed
about 25,000 hardware data
points until then, and with
the new construction a further
12,000 were added.
Standardized BACnet
profiles
The system designers relied
upon a standardized BACnet
B-BC (BACnet Building
Controller) profile for the
planning of the automation
stations in order to allow for
the participation of a large
range of possible products
by competing producers. A
further advantage of the installation
of a standardized
profile in operation lies in
the possibility that manufacturer-independentautomation
stations can be integrated
in the overall system
in case of a replacement of
the existing systems or system
extensions. By means
of planning specifications by
Ebert-Ingenieure, Honeywell
performed the task of process
control and measurement
technology, while the management
level was entrusted
to Siemens. Honeywell Excel
Web automation stations
were applied.
BACnet-specific
requirements
In the tender offer the requirements
had already been
described and would be coordinated
beforehand by
the design team. The partners
had to acquire, coordinate
and document a common
functional specification
to these tests which would
be verified by the user and
the designer. The final test
of the entire system, before
the installation of the automation
stations in the building,
was implemented with
the most newly tested and
certified DDC stations. All
desired functions from the
complete DESIGO INSIGHT
and EXCEL WEB system
passed, particularly the complex
ones such as scheduling,
trending, network manage-
Anwendungen Solutions
ment, alarm and event management,
etc.
During the construction
phase a 1:1 test from the field
level on up to the management
level was verified and
protocolled in order to thereby
test the functionality of
the system in detail.
The University Medical
Center Hamburg-Eppendorf
now benefits of a multi-vendor
plant which is not only
of the newest standard of
technology, but which also
represents the most economical
overall solution.
