SPORT 2000
Outdoor stabil, neue Konzepte geplant
(v.l.n.r.) Deters, Kuhls und Rudolf auf der OutDoor Pressekonferenz
(f.l.t.r.) Deters, Kuhls und Rudolf at the OutDoor press conference
diese Entwicklung dafür ursächlich sein. Leicht im
Plus lagen auch die Segmente Running-Schuhe (+ 1,8
Prozent), Fußball-Textil (+ 7,3 Prozent) und Fußball-Hartwaren
(+ 2,3 Prozent).
Bereiche Multisport (- 3,6 Prozent), Running Textil
(- 3,5 Prozent) und Fußballschuhe (- 1,9 Prozent).
Insgesamt kommt
die Sport 2000 so
auf ein bis Ende Mai
aufgelaufenes Minus
von 2,2 Prozent.
Geschäftsführer
Hans-Hermann
Deters stellt derweil
mit „Absolute“ ein
neues Vertikalisierungs-Konzept
vor. Ziel sei es,
Handelspartner in
Outdoor Stabil, New Concepts in Planning
Sport 2000 reports an increase of in total 1.8
percent in the first five months in the category
Outdoor. Whereas clothes decreased
by 2.7 percent and hardware by 2.9 percent,
outdoor shoes were able to generate a plus of
3.9 percent for the Sport 2000 retailers. This
results in an accumulated plus in Outdoor of
1.8 percent. CEO Andreas Rudolf comments,
Die Top-Ten-Outdoor-Lieferanten der Sport2000
The top ten outdoor suppliers of Sport2000
‘Outdoor continues to be a stable segment in
our partner shops.’ An interesting detail is that
the general price increases reached the shops
this year. Despite the advances in price, the
plus is very low. The months January and May
were too weak for a more positive result. This
is, most probably due to the high results of the
previous year and the very warm temperatures.
When Andreas Rudolf predicts a “clearly
positive impulse again” for the high season in
late summer and autumn, this development
might be the reason. The segments Running
Shoes (+1.8%), Football fashion (+7.3%) and
Football Hardware (+2.3%) registered a slight
increase as well. In total, Sport 2000 generated
an accumulated minus of 2.2 percent until the
end of May 2018.
With “Absolute”, the CEO Hans-Hermann
Deters is presenting a new verticalization
concept. According to him, it has the goal to
strengthen the competitiveness of the trade
partners, to further expand the specialist
formats, to win market shares and, thus, to
consolidate the demands on the industry. It is
planned that the first pilot retailer presents the
new shop concept in late summer in Germany.
