Kompaktantenne bietet Gewinn für GNSS-Signale an problematischen Standorten
Antenova, Ltd. stellte auf Embedded World
eine neue Kompaktantenne vor, die aktive
All-in-One-GNSS-Antenne M20047-1.
Damit wird dem vorhandenen Sortiment
an Positionierungsantennen und -modulen
eine weitere Option hinzugefügt. Die
M20047-1 wird im 1559...1609-MHz-
Band betrieben und bietet Designern eine
nützliche Platz sparende Option für kleine
Tracking-Geräte.
Zu ihren wesentlichen Merkmalen gehören
die aktiven Komponenten, der integrierte
rauscharme Verstärker (LNA) und
Filter, die das Signal zum GNSS-Rechner
in Umgebungen mit beschränkter Sichtverbindung
auf den Himmel und problematischer
Sichtlinie zum Horizont verstärken.
Da LNA und Filterung bereits in
der Antenne integriert sind, müssen diese
nicht hinzugefügt werden, was zu Platzeinsparungen
auf der Platine führt.
Die M20047-1 ist eine robuste FR4-Flachantenne
mit geringen Abmessungen
von 7 x 7 x 1,1 mm, was sie ideal zur
Verwendung in kleinen Trackinggeräten
macht. Sie eignet sich zum Tracking aller
Arten von bewegten Objekten, Telematiksystemen
und tragbaren Sportgeräten.
Die M20047-1 Antenne trägt den Namen
„Active Sinica“ und stellt eine Alternative
zur bestehenden „Sinica“-Antenne
von Antenova SR4G008 dar, die auf dem
Markt für zuverlässige Positionierungsanwendungen
angeboten wird. Die Antennen
von Antenova wurden eigens für einfache
Integration entwickelt, das Unternehmen
bietet Kunden aber auch einen kompletten
technischen Service zur Unterstützung bei
allen Aspekten des Testens, Einstellens und
der Integration der Antennen.
Dual Sector Antennas
KP Performance Antennas
announced a line of high-gain,
dual-band sector antennas for
use in wireless networks. This
line of dual sector antennas is
made up of seven models, each
consisting of two or more sector
antennas inside a single, rugged
radome. The single mounting
point of these antennas reduces
inches on the tower, halves the
tower rental costs and lowers
wind resistance. They also provide
a rapid upgrade path to add
frequency bands without installing
more infrastructure. These
antennas are offered with four
or eight ports and support 2x2,
4x4 and 8x8 MIMO, depending
on the model.
The straight-on models in this
line provide two forward-facing,
high-gain, 65° or 90° sector
antennas in a single radome,
one for each frequency band and
come in frequency combinations
of 2 GHz/3 GHz, 2 GHz/5 GHz,
3 GHz/5 GHz or 5 GHz/5 GHz.
They have clean patterns and
provide complete 360° coverage
while minimizing interference.
Plus, they come with mounting
space for two ePMP radios,
have four N-Type female connectors
and hot dip galvanized
steel sector brackets. These
antennas are ideal for point-tomulti-point
applications using
many of the popular radios in
the WISP market.
4x4 MIMO Sector
Antennas Offer 120°
Beamwidth
RFMW, Ltd. announced design
and sales support for 4x4
MIMO/MANET sector antennas
from Southwest Antennas.
The 1009-036 is a quad polarized
design while the 1009-34
is a dual polarized design. Both
antennas offer 12 dBi of gain
and handle 50 W of RF power.
Integral mounts offer 0 to 15
degrees of adjustable elevation
downtilt in 2.5 degree increments.
The four input connectors
are Type N female and the
radome is made of white, UV
stable Kydex. Model 1009-036
supports frequencies from 4.4 to
5 GHz. Model 1009-34 supports
2.2 to 2.5 GHz. Used in base station
infrastructure applications
and Mesh network radios, these
antennas come complete with
hardware for mounting to one or
two inch diameter poles.
Compact 2x2 MIMO
Sector Antennas for
S and C Bands
RFMW, Ltd. announced design
and sales support for Southwest
Antennas’ 2x2 sector antennas
for MIMO/MANET radio
systems. The 1055-345 is designed
for Federal Law Enforcement
C-Band frequencies from
4.4 to 5 GHz. Model 1055-346
covers Federal Law Enforcement
S-Band frequencies from
2.2 to 2.3 GHz. Both antennas
offer 10 dBi minimum gain and
handle RF power levels up to 50
W. These 2x2 antennas offer 56°
of azimuth beamwidth featuring
a dual polarized design with 1x
45° slant left and 1x 45° slant
right. The polarization and spatial
diversity provided by 45°
left/right slant elements within
the radome offers better RF link
capability in congested RF environments
and higher data/voice
throughput versus standard vertically
polarized antennas. Input
connectors are TNC female and
radomes are made of white, UV
stable Kydex. Ideal for federal
law enforcement, Homeland
Security, and NATO users,
applications include MIMO/
MANET mesh radio systems,
wireless infrastructure base stations,
city wide and urban area
mesh radio networks, emergency
management and rapid deploy
networks for event management
and security.
