4.5 LINEAR COMPENSATION FOR ARRAYS
On the Dose Measurement screen there is a column entitled "LC". This column is
used to display the "Linear Compensation" factors for TN's Linear Array dosimeters.
If a single MOSFET is being used (i.e. TN-502RD), no compensation is required and
"N/A" will be displayed in the LC column.
A Linear Array, however, requires compensation. If a voltage difference is detected
during the Start-Read period, the mobileMOSFET Software will calculate the
corresponding LC number based on the Array in use and the detected difference.
If the type of Array has not been designated, a question mark, "?", will appear in the
LC column to indicate that the Array has not been set. To do this, return to the
Configuration Window in the Equipment Setup screen and select the type of array you
are using. The compensation will automatically be applied to the final doses.
