OPERATOR'S MANUAL FOR THE SYSTEM
All mobileMOSFET Software report files have a filename with the extension of ".mrpt".
The default file name is "Patient's First Name + Patient's Last Name + Date
(YYYMMDD) + Time (when the latest dose data was received) + .mrpt". For example,
if John Smith was treated on August 18, 2005 and the last dose data was received at
1:21 p.m., the default file name would be:
John Smith_20050818_1321.mrpt
Please note that if you wish to use the data collected in a future session, you must
save it in the ".mrpt" format. The mobileMOSFET Software gives you the option of
saving reports with or without password protection. Should you wish to protect your
report, you will be asked to enter a password (maximum of 20 characters, no spaces
are allowed) and then confirm it.
To export the information to Microsoft® Office Excel Microsoft® Office Word or as a
Plain Text File, simply select a format from the Operations drop-down menu as shown
in Figure 4-8: Dosimetry Report Screen, and the mobileMOSFET Software will
automatically export the data.
If you export to Microsoft® Office Excel, a window will automatically open and
populate "Sheet 1" with the raw dose data and "Sheet 2" will contain the patient image
and dosimeter locations. When you export to Microsoft® Office Word, a Word
document will be automatically populated with the entire dose data information. This
document can then be saved and imported in Record and Verify programs that allow
for the use of Word documents. Finally, if you want to retrieve the final dose data
from another software program, e.g. a dose calculation software program, then you
can export and save the data to a Plain Text file.
Once the data has been exported, you may save your data as an Excel, Word or Plain
Text file, however, remember that it must also be saved as a mobileMOSFET
Software report if you wish to access the data in the future. Also, as the data in the
Excel, Word or Plain Text documents can be altered, please ensure that the
mobileMOSFET Software Dosimetry Report is the final report for your legal/patient
files.
