7 Correctness of Entry Forms. Exhibitors and Competitors will be held responsible for the correctness
of their entry forms, and if disputed, when called upon by the Stewards or Officials, to prove the
correctness of such entry, the entry may be disqualified and any award made to it cancelled.
An entry, which has been incorrectly entered into a class, cannot be moved, under any
circumstances, after the closing date.
8 Ownership. All exhibits shall be the bona fide property of the Exhibitors on the closing date of the
27 March 2013.
10 Nomination Entries. Any form marked “Nomination”, or failing to give the full name of the exhibit,
will be refused and returned (with the exception of unborn foals).
11 Substitution of Entries. Substitution of entries will not be permitted after the closing date except
when, after entry, an animal dies; the Exhibitor will be permitted to substitute another entry, in the same
class, without payment of any further fee, upon affording evidence of death and furnishing particulars
of the substituted entry in time for the alteration to be made in the published catalogue.
12 Stables. Stabling accommodation is not automatically provided for exhibits in the horse classes.
Stables may be provided if ordered by 27 March 2013. Stabling cannot be guaranteed. Stable numbers
will be limited to 150 boxes over the Show period. If you wish to hire a stable we strongly suggest that
you book early. If boxes are oversubscribed the Devon County Show reserves the right to restrict the
booking of stables for those exhibitors only showing on one day.
Application for stabling must be made on the relevant form and accompanied by the full fees. The
charges are £40.00 for one night, £75.00 for two nights and £93.00 for three nights or more (i.e. from
1900 on one day until 1800 hours on the following day). The final date for applications is 27 March 2013.
Fees paid for stables cannot be refunded unless a stable is not secured at time of booking.
It is ESSENTIAL that the STABLE MANAGER be NOTIFIED if the horse occupying a stable is any
other than the nominated horse for which the stable was booked. Anyone found breaking this rule will
be penalised.
An exhibitor or his servant who enters or makes use of any stable which has not been
officially reserved for his use shall be liable to penalties.
Drop hessian front and mangers are not provided. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that
