CLASSES 744-748 - NSR COMMUNICATIONS RING<br />
These classes are being held under the rules and jurisdiction of the British <strong>Show</strong> Horse<br />
Association. Owners and <strong>Horses</strong> must be registered or have temporary membership with a<br />
Day Ticket. In-Hand <strong>Horses</strong> registered with the Association must be Owned by current<br />
BSHA Members.<br />
All Colts two years old and over and Stallions must be registered in their respective Stud<br />
Books and must hold a current licence and/or be graded.<br />
This is a qualifier for the BSHA Martin Wood Supreme In-Hand Breeding Championship, to<br />
be held at the BSHA National Championships, September 2013. Champion & Reserve to<br />
qualify. The BSHA offer a Martin Wood Qualified Rosette to the Champion & Reserve.<br />
The BSHA also offer a Owner/Breeder rosette in each In-Hand Breeding class with the<br />
exception of the Foal class.<br />
ALL FOALS MUST BE AT LEAST 3 WEEKS OLD ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW.<br />
744 Riding Horse Brood Mare, Four years old and over exceeding 148cms. Certified in<br />
foal or with own foal at foot (See Reg. 20).<br />
745 Riding Horse Foal, exhibited with its dam in class 744.<br />
746 Riding Horse Filly, Colt or Gelding, Yearling. To make over 148cms at maturity.<br />
Small not to exceed 150cms on the day. Large to exceed 150cms on the day.<br />
747 Riding Horse Filly, Colt or Gelding, Two years old, to make over 148cms at<br />
maturity. Small not to exceed 155cms on the day. Large to exceed 155cms on the<br />
day.<br />
748 Riding Horse Filly, Colt or Gelding, Three years old, to make over 148cms at<br />
maturity. Small not to exceed 157cms on the day. Large to exceed 157cms on the<br />
day.<br />
Champion & Special Prizes<br />
H49 Champion Riding Horse Breeding. <strong>Devon</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Show</strong> Rosette and a SWPA Qualifying<br />
Card.<br />
H50 The Langaller Farm Brood Mare Premium Award. This takes the form of a rosette and a<br />
voucher worth £75 awarded to the highest placed Brood Mare in Class 744 and is redeemable<br />
against any stud fee for a stallion standing at Langaller Farm during the current or following stud<br />
season. Only one award per mare per season. Where the winning mare has already won a<br />
voucher in the current year, the award goes to the next highest placed eligible mare.<br />
H51 The NPS/Ottergayle Riding Horse In Hand Supreme Championship. Kindly sponsored by<br />
Julia & David Topham Barnes. The three highest placed horses from each class will qualify for<br />
the final to be held at the NPS Championship <strong>Show</strong>. Foals are excluded from this qualification.<br />
Exhibitors do not have to be members of the National Pony Society and horses do not have to<br />
be registered with them to compete. The owner does not have to be an NPS member for the<br />
horse to enter this competition, to qualify or to enter the final.<br />
