CLASSES 849-852 - NSR COMMUNICATIONS RING<br />
This is a qualifying <strong>Show</strong> for the BSPS Championship held at Arena UK, the 1st and 2nd<br />
prize-winners will qualify to compete thereat, provided the pony is owned and registered by<br />
a BSPS <strong>Show</strong>ing member and ridden by a BSPS Junior member or in accordance with Rule<br />
23. (1st - 4th prizewinners qualify in mixed height classes.)<br />
This <strong>Show</strong> is affiliated to the British <strong>Show</strong> Pony Society (20/13). This section will be judged<br />
under BSPS Rules and owners and riders must be BSPS Members and the Pony registered<br />
with the BSPS to be eligible to enter Classes 849-851 registration numbers must be quoted<br />
on entry forms (see Reg. 36).<br />
Classes 849-851 are qualifying classes for the RIHS and the BSPS Blue Riband Pony of the<br />
Year.<br />
BSPS CLASSIC SECURITY UK LTD CHALLENGE<br />
The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2013 Horse of the Year <strong>Show</strong> in the<br />
appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the “BSPS<br />
Challenge”, the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.<br />
If after qualifying a pony qualifies for the HOYS it will forfeit it’s qualification for the “BSPS<br />
Challenge”.<br />
All ponies must be registered with the BSPS and registration numbers stated on the entry<br />
forms to compete is classes with RIHS and Blue Riband Qualification (see Reg. 36).<br />
The Best Rider in the three Open Children’s Riding Pony Classes at all BSPS Affiliated<br />
<strong>Show</strong>s will be awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the ‘Black Country Saddles’ Rider<br />
of the Year at the Summer Championships <strong>Show</strong>.<br />
849 BSPS Mare or Gelding, not exceeding 128cm (12.2hh), riders not to have attained<br />
their 13th birthday before 1 January in the current year.<br />
850 BSPS Mare or Gelding, exceeding 128cm (12.2hh) and not exceeding 138cm<br />
(13.2hh), riders not to have attained their 15th birthday before 1 January in the<br />
current year.<br />
851 BSPS Mare or Gelding, exceeding 138cm (13.2hh) and not exceeding 148cm<br />
(14.2hh), riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1 January in the<br />
current year.<br />
852 BSPS Novice, Mare or Gelding, not exceeding 148cm (14.2hh), riders not to have<br />
attained their 17th birthday before 1 January in the current year, to be shown in<br />
suitable Snaffle Bridles Only. Riders to be the correct age for the height of the pony<br />
they ride.<br />
