It is tempting, certainly, to chalk it up to obsequiousness on Kelley’s<br />

part, yet one does have to wonder, in light <strong>of</strong> what is to come, if <strong>the</strong>re<br />

were forces acting to bring <strong>the</strong> pair toge<strong>the</strong>r in order that <strong>the</strong> work<br />

which we shall now turn to should be completed.<br />
