Pressure Independent Characterized Control Valve
with MFT, Spring Return Actuator, P/T Ports (Optional)

The PICCV has a unique feature in that the GPM can be adjusted by adjusting the minimum and maximum settings.
Selecting the Proper Flow Rate:
The PICCV-15-001 (-PT) can be ordered in 0.50 GPM or 1.0
GPM flow rates. The PICCV-15-005 (-PT) can be ordered in
1.5 GPM to 5.5 GPM flow rate increments, as stated in the
table below.
If you wish to re-program to the values listed in the table below:
Example 1: The application requires a 2 GPM flow rate.
Solution: Order the PICCV-15-002
Example 2: The application requires a 3.5 GPM flow rate.
Solution: Order the PICCV-15-005 and re-program to the
below setting for 3.5 GPM. As a standard, the
PICCV is available in flows of 4 GPM and 3 GPM.
If you desire 3.5 GPM and have a Normally Closed
(NC) valve, simply reprogram the maximum setting
to 71%, and minimum setting of 0% as indicated
on the chart below.

Please note that the settings are different for Normally Closed
(NC) and Normally Open (NO) operation. When ordering, please
specify NO or NC operation.
Selecting the Proper Control Signal
Select one of the MFT codes below for the signal required.
Example: A 3 GPM flow rate is required, spring return actuator,
2-10 VDC signal.
Solution: PICCV-15-003 + LF24-MFT US + P-10019.
Engineering Note: The 1/2” PICCV utilizes two uniquely engineered
valve bodies to achieve the listed flow rate offerings.
Variable GPMs are further realized using Belimo’s registered Multi-
Function Technology®. The PICCV-15-001 offers nominal flow rates
that are adjustable from 0.5 to 1.3 GPM. The PICCV-15-005 offers
nominal flow rates that are adjustable from 1.5 to 5.5 GPM range.
Please follow MFT guideline settings when configuring the PICCV
MFT actuators in the field.
