receptor signaling
• “Heterotrimeric G-proteins” (directly coupled to receptor and enzyme):
• Coupled to 7 transmembrane spanning receptors: (β-adrenergic R, PG-R)
• All members are heterotrimeric, consisting of α, β and γ subunits
