90 days. The perfect orange tomato! Large 10 oz. fruit are<br />

very smooth, uniform, and a beautiful, glowing orange in<br />

DJENA LEE’S GOLDEN GIRL #TO125<br />

76-80 days. Indeterminate. Family heirloom that dates<br />

back to the Roaring Twenties. Medium-sized fruits have a<br />

beautiful golden-orange color. Flavor is a balance of sweet<br />

and tart, fruity and very tasty. This variety won first prize at the<br />

Chicago Fair 10 years in a row! Djena was the granddaughter<br />

of Minnesota financier Jim Lee. She grew this tomato in<br />

Minnesota, and in 1929 gave plants to Reverend Morrow, then<br />

15 years old, who maintained it. Listed in the Slow Foods Ark<br />

DR. WYCHE’S YELLOW #TO108<br />

80 days. This heirloom was introduced to Seed Savers<br />

Exchange by the late Dr. John Wyche, who at one time<br />

owned the Cole Brothers Circus and used the manure of<br />

elephants to fertilize his heritage gardens. The 1 lb fruit is<br />

solid and smooth; their color is a glowing tangerine-orange<br />

that always stands out in the kitchen or off the vine. One of<br />

the best heirloom orange types for market, with its smooth<br />

texture and tropical, sweet taste. Heavy yields. Pkt $2.50<br />

GIRAFFE #TO123<br />

75 days. Semi-determinate. Intriguing long-keeping variety<br />

from Russia. 2- to 4- ounce round fruits are meaty with a red<br />

interior and skin that changes from green to yellow as the<br />

fruit ripens in storage. Vine-ripened fruits eventually reach<br />

a unique orange color. Reportedly keeps up to 5 months!<br />

Originally bred at the Timirjazev Agricultural Academy,<br />

78 days. Indeterminate. First introduced in 1882 by the<br />

Livingston Seed Company. The oblate fruits of deep gold<br />

GOLDEN SUNRAY #TO109<br />

80 days. Uniform, golden-orange globes are so smooth<br />

and uniform they look like a commercial variety, but these<br />

have a rich, full, tomato flavor that is missing in modern<br />

varieties, being both sweet and tangy. Productive vines yield<br />

lots of 8 to 10-oz. fruit that excel at markets; great for fresh<br />

use and sauce. This tomato was preserved by the late Ben<br />
