REGULATION INFORMATION GUIDELINES<br />

This booklet contains information about <strong>Oregon</strong>'s statewide game bird hunting regulations .<br />

Always review all regulations before you hunt . Because season dates <strong>and</strong> hunting<br />

regulations change annually, significant changes from last year’s season dates <strong>and</strong> hunting<br />

regulations are highlighted in red type . Significant regulations <strong>and</strong> information also are<br />

highlighted in red type .<br />

To make your outdoor adventures more enjoyable, refer to the following guidelines:<br />

■ All hunters must obtain a hunting or combination license <strong>and</strong> participate in HIP . See<br />

pages 8-10 for requirements <strong>and</strong> information . A mail order application is provided on<br />

page 45 .<br />

■ Season dates <strong>and</strong> bag limits for game birds are listed on pages 14-17 . A shooting<br />

hours table is located on page 13 . Season dates <strong>and</strong> bag limits can change from year<br />

to year .<br />

■ <strong>Oregon</strong> has a Northwest Permit Goose Season with special regulations . Information<br />

about this season is located on pages 18-20 .<br />

■ State wildlife areas are listed on pages 33-36 . State <strong>and</strong> federal refuge special regulations<br />

are listed on pages 30-32, including telephone numbers .<br />

■ <strong>Oregon</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers hunts to introduce youths, adults <strong>and</strong> families to hunting <strong>and</strong> the<br />

outdoors . You can read about these special opportunities on pages 15, 22-23, <strong>and</strong> 33 .<br />
