by Jon Ren
Jon Ren’s passion for drawing and painting began as a young boy. He was greatly influenced by his father, Chuck Ren,
and driven by his own natural ability. After graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado in 1990, Jon began his career as
an artist creating team posters for the NFL. Jon’s works include a variety of subject matter which has been featured on
collector plate series and limited edition prints. His father’s influence is evident in Jon’s Native American pieces. Jon’s love
of wildlife prevails in almost every piece Jon creates and remains his favorite subject matter. In 2007, Jon won the Timber
Wolf Alliance Regional Wolf Awareness Week Poster Competition. He also placed second in the 2009 North Carolina Duck
Stamp contest and third in the 2010 Colorado Habitat Stamp contest.
