MS5650 SCAN TOOL, GAS & FAN CADDY
MS5650 MOTORCYCLE DIAGNOSTIC SCAN TOOLS
These scanners allows techs to diagnose, adjust, and reset fault key systems on
most major motorcycle brands, including Honda, H-D, BMW, Kawasaki,
Yamaha, Suzuki, & Ducati. The MS5650 has a comprehensive database of
models and systems (including cable type and connector position).
The MS5650 allows the technician to check the instrument panel, get live data
from the systems and re-set the service light on some brands. Software updates are
available annually. Techs use the data from the ECU to read (and erase) stored faults, and display “live”
data (RPM, battery voltage, throttle angle, etc.). The MS5650 helps the user unlock
the immobilizer, make injection adjustments (CO trimmer), adjust throttle position
sensor (TPS), configure the immobilizer/alarm, reset auto-adaptive parameters,
& make idle adjustments. (See below cable Applications.)

OPTIONAL CABLES FOR MS5650
For serial communication with Japanese brands, the optional cables are required. These cables,
along with the version 5.0 software, allow techs to read the ECU directly, interpret error codes,
and interact with the injection systems.
