Instead, he never did so!<br />

The Apostles, later, shouted in a full Synagogue, that<br />

they must first obey God, even against the highest religious<br />

and civil authorities. (Acts 5,29)<br />

St. Paul did the same, even though he would have expected<br />

respect for the Roman laws; but not on matters of faith!<br />

In conclusion:<br />

Professing and evangelizing false religions, even if protected<br />

by civil authorities, is not at all the “freedom” referred<br />

to by the positive law nor the natural one; on the<br />

contrary, it would be licentious and, therefore, an inherently<br />

immoral “freedom”!<br />

Therefore, the Pope is not allowed to remain silent in order<br />

not to disturb the good faith of the people, but rather, he is<br />

obliged to speak, to preach, to spread the Gospel, to call people<br />

back to the “true faith” and, thereby, to the Church, at<br />

least as an implicit desire to include faith and supernatural<br />

charity.<br />

Wasn’t it, perhaps, the Lord Himself who gave to Peter<br />

and the Apostles the command to go and preach His faith,<br />

the only true faith, in order to win over all souls of good<br />

faith to the Gospel? And this, because – according to the<br />

“doctrine” of the Church since the beginning – those who<br />

belong to the Church only “in voto”, or rather, with an implicit<br />

or explicit wish, do not have the assurance of their eternal<br />

salvation, nor of the ordinary means (doctrine and Sacraments)<br />

to attain it.<br />

Thus, all the Apostles did so. They became “martyrs”,<br />

precisely because those who refused the true faith, - therefore,<br />

in bad faith! - killed them!<br />

Certainly, the “truth”, because it is uncompromising, always<br />

upsets and offends those who do not want the light and<br />

perform evil works [John 3,19: “... the light is come into the<br />

world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their<br />

works were evil”]. But those that, like the Apostles, remain<br />
