Paul VI himself, in his encyclical called “Mysterium<br />

Fidei” dated September 3, 1965, three months before the end<br />

of the Council, literally took ownership of the Doctrine of the<br />

“Anti-Modernist Oath” imposed by Saint Pius X on the<br />

entire clergy. Paul VI explained it as follows:<br />

«Who could ever tolerate that the dogmatic formulas<br />

of the Ecumenical Councils, on the mysteries<br />

of the Holy Trinity and of the Incarnation<br />

(…) are deemed no longer appropriate for the<br />

men of our times, and others daringly replace<br />

them?»<br />

It is obvious that by these words of Paul VI, he directly<br />

accused the foolish direction pointed by Pope John XX<strong>II</strong>I as<br />

the “main goal” of the Second <strong>Vatican</strong> Council when he<br />

said:<br />

«… it is necessary that this doctrine (...) is analyzed<br />

thoroughly (transeat!) and presented in a<br />

way to address the needs of our time.»<br />

These statements assume that dogmatic formulas are also<br />

no longer suitable to the men of our time! However, why did<br />

Paul VI, in his opening speech on September 29, 1963, adopt<br />

for himself these affirmations and directives that Pope<br />

John XX<strong>II</strong>I had given in Council, putting it on the path to<br />

the disaster that we are still suffering now?<br />

<strong>Vatican</strong> <strong>II</strong> was not a dogmatic Council and because of<br />

that, it is inexplicable how it can be possible that the other<br />

four Constitutions were named “dogmatic,” for neither<br />

these nor other documents from the Council were defined by<br />

the new dogmas, just like errors were not condemned.<br />

Because of this, it is necessary to know the theological<br />

qualification given <strong>Vatican</strong> <strong>II</strong>.<br />

Like all the other Ecumenical Councils before it, there is<br />

no doubt that <strong>Vatican</strong> <strong>II</strong> is ecumenical because:
