Southern region, # State(s) in which promising<br />

Of the nine entries tested in the early transplanted condition IET 21106 ( OR 1777-4) was most<br />

promising. It excelled the best check in Orissa, Kerala and Maharashtra . It embodies desirable<br />

quality traits with medium slender grains. Of the two hybrids tested IET 20710 (Indam 200-022)<br />

based on it’s regional superiority was found to be promising in Madhya Pradesh. It has medium<br />

slender grains with good quality features.
