None of the entries established the superiority over the best check, local on overall basis. IET
21680 (CB 05-754) and IET 21185 (CR 2601) are promising in the eastern region over best check –
MAS 26. IET 21680 has short bold grains, good quality parameters and moderate resistance to brown
spot..

Of 21 entries tested in the trial, IET 21914 (Rewa 1103) is the only entry with it’s yield
superiority over the best check, MAS 26 and qualify for promotion to the next year of testing.
