DRR Annual Progress Report 2010, Vol.1 – Varietal Improvement highest yielding check under drought and normal rainfall conditions, IET 20859 and IET 20871 could not establish stable yield advantage over highest yielding check in any state either under drought or normal rainfall conditions, hence discontinued from further testing. The entry which IET 20863 showed yield superiority over best check in Jharkhand for all the three years, hence appears to be promising for the state of Jharkhand only in drought affected locations.
