In the final year of irrigated medium duration trial 22 entries were evaluated at 28 locations of
which one hybrid and two varieties were recommended. IET 20735 (VNR-202) a hybrid was found
promising for states of Uttarakhand, Tamilnadu and Chhattisgarh. Among the varieties, IET 20915
(UPR 2937-9-3-1) was found promising for states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Chhattisgarh,
while IET 20923 (OR 2327-23) was promising for states of Gujarat, Tamilnadu and Tripura.
