Among the advantages of
Rice-Fish Culture identifi ed were
- additional food and income in
the form of fi sh, controls mollusks
and insects which are harmful to
rice and increases rice production.
The disadvantage observed was
that the production are small and
the total production is lower than
what could be produced in a pond
of similar size.
