CVROSFR is a satellite station of the central
GET EXCEL tilapia hatchery of the country
which is the BFAR National Freshwater
Fisheries Technology Center in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija,
and is also the prime fi ngerling production facility
of BFAR RO2.
Production of the station can be seen in the table
above (Table 5).
For 2011, the station, in addition to regular work,
also assisted in or conducted major activities to
include market surveillance for double dead fi sh,
Magat Dam and IFARMC activities, open-water
stocking in Magat reservoir, induced spawning of
pangasius and African hito, and in Daloy Magat.
The market surveillance was held during the height
of the milkfi sh scare as result of the massive fi shkills
in Batangas and Pangasinan. Daloy Magat, on the
other hand, is an initiative of the SN Aboitiz power
company and NIA to conserve water and maximize
use of irrigation water from the Magat Reservoir.
Accomplishment of the fi sh health laboratory
located within the fi sh farm, can be seen on Table 6.

Also located within the station is a Fish
Health Laboratory. Services rendered and
accomplishment can be seen in Table 6.
