Outlot A, Long Lake Shores, Section 7. Wetland proposed for residential development, then changed to construct one house. Court case continues. 2. Lots 1 thru 8, Deith Sub'dn., and ac. par's C-270A1, C-270A2, and C-270A3, Section 28. Residential to Office. Court date expected to come up in near future. 3. Lot 4, Wabeek Manor, Section 7. Wetland alteration by constructing dock to Upper Long Lake. Circuit Court remanded back for public hearing; petition denied. Court case continues. 4. Ac. par. C-270C, Section 28. Residential to B-3 to facilitate funeral home. Court date pending. 5. Ac. par. C-310D, Section 31. for construction of office on case, awaiting court date. BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION September 15, 1986 Thompson, Low, Little, Lupin, Dickson, Smith, Hays ABSENT: None (1) Site plan review for office building for Alexander V. Bogaerts & Associates on the NE corner of Square Lake Road and Franklin was discussed. Mr. Leman presented his review of the plan noting it would require variances. This property was previously approved for two buildings and only one was built. Consequently this site is small and irregularly shaped, especially due to the State Highway Department plan to add a right turn lane on Square Lake Road in addition to having a large site distance or clear vision area on the corner. The petitioners are negotiating to acquire or utilize that State property for landscaping with current approval being to move the fence and maintain it in grass. There are set back variances required on the east, south and north property lines. Parking in the south front set back requires special approval. Carports shown in the south front yard will be deleted. The Commission expressed concern about the new drive off Franklin in relation to the existing drive even though the County and State have approved curb cuts. There was discussion on the existing office with the Commission advising it must be brought into conformance with respect to required greenbelts and landscaping. The Commission indicated interest in the petitioner acquiring the State property for landscaping other than just grass. Motion was made by Dickson, seconded by Low and was unanimously supported to table the site plan for an office building on Lot 174 and part of 175, Colonial Hills No.2, Section 4, for further study of the site to bring it closer into conformance with Ordinance, and for investigation into acquiring use of the State Highway property as well as the current owner bringing their remaining property into conformance. (2) Motion was made by Lupin, seconded by Dickson and was unanimously supported to send the preliminary plan for Phase I--The Heathers, Section 1, to the Township Planner for review and to notify neighboring property owners of this submittal. (3) Motion was made by Dickson and was unanimously supported approving the September 2 minutes as corrected.
