PLANNING COMMISSION
September 16, 1985
PRESENT: Thompson, Low, Dickson, Smith
ABSENT: Lupin, Little
I (1)
Mr. L. Derderian, contractor, and the proprietors of Research
Data Analysis presented a site plan for a new building on lot 4
on Industrial Court, east of Franklin and north of Square
Lake Rd. Their plan for a building on lot 4 also included an
outline for future addition to the building on lot 3. They
included landscaping for the front of lot 3 and the overall
parking layout for the entire development. There was variance in
parking set backs on the east line of lot 4, and between lots 3
and 4 should the addition on lot 3 never be constructed. The
Planner recommended increasing the size of the evergreens on the
plan to 10 ft. to 12 ft. which the petitioners indicated would be
agreeable. They stated the trash receptacles would be inside the
building and the Commission requested they submit the entire
landscape plan for lot 3 at this time. Motion was made by
Dickson, seconded by Smith and was unanimously supported to
forward the site plan for Research Data Analysis new building on
Lots 3 and 4, Bloomfield Hills Research Industrial Park, Section
4, to the Township Board with recommendation for approval
subject to Board of Appeals review and approval of proposed set
backs. A recordable document is required for Township approval
encumbering lot 3 by restricting it to development as shown on
this plan submitted with lot 4. Out Planner's recommendations
are to be complied with and a complete detailed landscape plan be
submitted for both lots for development at this time. Signage is
to conform to Ordinance.
