Plats studied and reviewed were recommended to the Township Board<br />

for approval as follows:<br />

Birmingham Club Private Estates, Section 33 -- (Ac. Par's.<br />

C-329C3, pt. C-329-C-2B-D, lot 8 & pt. 7, Town and Country<br />

Estates) -- preliminary<br />

Replat of lots 158-170 and pt. vacated Brancaster Drive and<br />

Muirfield Drive -- McGregor Estate, Section 29 -- preliminary<br />

Heron Bay, Section 7 -- preliminary<br />

I Following are zoning requests received and dispositions given during<br />

the year:<br />

1. Rezone pt. ac. par. C-202A, Section 21, SW corner Telegraph and<br />

Lone Pine for construction of office with remaining portion<br />

cluster. Request changed to rezoning from R-2 to R-M for<br />

6 building/48 unit multiples. Request denied.<br />

2. Rezone lots 38 and 39, Bloomfield Manor, Section 25, located on<br />

Adams Road, South of Big Beaver, from R-M to 0-1. This was<br />

informal discussion and consensus was zoning should remain R-M.<br />

3. Rezone ac. par. C-270C, Section 28, located on the east side of<br />

Telegraph, North of Maple, from R-2 to B-3 for the construction<br />

of a funeral home. Informal request made for amending zoning<br />

ordinance to change zoning classification of funeral homes.<br />

Requests denied.<br />

Public Hearings were held pertaining to preservation of wetlands on<br />

the following requests:<br />

1. Request for alteration in wetlands for the construction of a<br />

dock from Lot 4, Wabeek Manor, Section 7, to Upper Long Lake.<br />

This has been a court case and was remanded back by Circuit<br />

Court for public hearing. Request denied.
