Plats studied and reviewed were recommended to the Township Board
for approval as follows:
Birmingham Club Private Estates, Section 33 -- (Ac. Par's.
C-329C3, pt. C-329-C-2B-D, lot 8 & pt. 7, Town and Country
Estates) -- preliminary
Replat of lots 158-170 and pt. vacated Brancaster Drive and
Muirfield Drive -- McGregor Estate, Section 29 -- preliminary
Heron Bay, Section 7 -- preliminary
I Following are zoning requests received and dispositions given during
the year:
I
1. Rezone pt. ac. par. C-202A, Section 21, SW corner Telegraph and
Lone Pine for construction of office with remaining portion
cluster. Request changed to rezoning from R-2 to R-M for
6 building/48 unit multiples. Request denied.
2. Rezone lots 38 and 39, Bloomfield Manor, Section 25, located on
Adams Road, South of Big Beaver, from R-M to 0-1. This was
informal discussion and consensus was zoning should remain R-M.
3. Rezone ac. par. C-270C, Section 28, located on the east side of
Telegraph, North of Maple, from R-2 to B-3 for the construction
of a funeral home. Informal request made for amending zoning
ordinance to change zoning classification of funeral homes.
Requests denied.
Public Hearings were held pertaining to preservation of wetlands on
the following requests:
1. Request for alteration in wetlands for the construction of a
dock from Lot 4, Wabeek Manor, Section 7, to Upper Long Lake.
This has been a court case and was remanded back by Circuit
Court for public hearing. Request denied.
