Wente Vineyards Morning Fog Chardonnay 2009 Livermore Valley – while
morning fog is a feature in the vineyards of the eastern Bay Area, with
or without that fog, that part of the California coast cools off precipitously
at night and that cooling provides otherwise fat Chardonnay with
refreshing acidity. Such crispness lends itself to many different foods, as
the wine doesn’t overwhelm the food, but the food doesn’t overpower
the wine either.
