A Chance to
Cherish Time

watch on your wrist is
a symbol, rather than
the tool it was fifty
years ago. A symbol of
who you are or, perhaps,
who you want to
become. It’s a way to
express your style for
the day, or the kind of
person you are.

After all, we really don’t need a watch
in today’s world, as the time is literally
all around us. It’s on your phone, the
microwave, your nightstand, your
computer, on the car dashboard, even on the iPad –
just about everywhere we look.
Watches, however, give us the semblance
of controlling time. After all, if we can mark
the passing of time, perhaps we can slow its
inexorable progress.
Certainly we know that we can’t do anything to
stop time, but by wearing a fine timepiece, we can
cherish the time we are spending, looking back on
the great memories that we have had and forward to
the ones we have yet to make.
A great watch can remind us of a particular
moment in our lives, or a single success, or, if
received as a gift, it can remind us of a special
loved one.
At the same time, watches say something
about the people we are. If we are more comfortable
wearing a sporty timepiece, it’s a statement about
our hobbies and our lifestyles. Likewise, if we
choose to wear something more classical and
sober, that shows a part of our personality as well.
Wild and crazy also exists in watches, and these
watches are a great way to have fun and make that
statement, too.
